R&D Engineer for Product Development at IPM – Intelligent Pollutant Monitoring

IPM was founded in 2014 with the aim of implementing automatic monitoring of pollutants in the environment that can replace the current demanding measurement techniques. IPM develops an innovative sensor application to continuously detect the level of pollution in the given environment.

As IPM is growing, we are looking for our skilled international team, an R&D engineer / product developer with expertise in chemistry and materials science. You will be part of an innovative and international team, with a strong background in research and development of new products.

At the same time, you will join IPM’s journey, where the ambition is to develop a product with global demand and help solve a serious environmental problem. Join our team in our high-tech startup and have an impact on product development!

The qualified candidate is hired by IPM and placed full time at our plant and office in Karlslunde. All R&D activities will be conducted in our advanced laboratory.

The project you want to work on
This position is part of an EU project that IPM is currently involved in. The project is funded by the Fast Track to Innovation program to develop a fully functional water quality control prototype with our EU partners. The project is currently running under strict deadlines with milestone deliveries.

The candidate will focus on maturing the detection technique for the selected pesticides. The position is a mix of experimental work, data analysis and interpretation of results obtained. qualifications

The successful candidate is a graduate / PhD candidate or early post-doctoral researcher with a background in analytical chemistry, applied chemistry, electrical analysis and electrochemistry.
The ideal candidate should be self-driven and highly R&D minded.

• Previous industry experience is required.
• Prior experience with electrochemical registration is required.
• Experience in chemistry and materials engineering is required.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary and international environment.
• Ability and flexibility to work in a team and be able to work independently.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
